Training for municipalities

AMET and Denkstatt since the beginning of the project invited eight municipalities to take part in the project target group.
Six targeted face to face meetings, targeting Mayors/Vicemayors and local technical representative; several Peer to peer meetings, focusing on the benefits of implementing the 50000&1 SEAPs methodology, as well as presenting the Covenant of Mayors initiative, also took place. These sessions built the capacity of 3 new municipalities engaging with the project, namely: Timişoara as well as Giarmata and Apele Române. Moreover all Timiş Council municipalities were involved.
Local trainings have been organized and several Forums were held. The larget Forums which engaged more than 20 stakeholders/city where in Reșița in 17 of July 2015, Ineu city in 20.10.2015, in Sanicolaul Mare on 11.02.2016 and Lugoj on 14.04.2016. The aim was to involve the stakeholders in the SEAP development and to gather important needs from their part.

The main focus areas of the sessions held were:

  •   50000&1 SEAPs methodology (EnMS+SEAPs)
  •   Setting up an EnMS: what steps to take and what are the benefits
  •  The Covenant of Mayors: implementing your city´s commitment through EnMS 
  •  Why your city needs and energy manager  
  • Data collections – challenges and solutions

National trainings

AMET and Denkstatt organized three national training and dissemination events, building capacity of 49 participants.
The main focus areas of the sessions held were:

  • Setting up an EnMS: what steps to take and what are the benefits
  • The Covenant of Mayors: implementing your city´s commitment through EnMS
  • Why your city needs and energy manager
  • Data collections – challenges and solutions
  • Importance of Covenant of Mayors initiative and collaborative platform
  • How important is the SEAP monitoring and controlling process
