Warm Sweater Day

Belgium
The 12th edition of the Flemish initiative ‘Warm Sweater Day’ will take place on 15 February - join us in our effort to tackle climate change!

Warm Sweater Day encourages schools, public sector and companies to apply several energy-saving measures in their own organizations.
One of the main and most symbolic actions is to lower the thermostat by 1°C for one day and wear a warm sweater.
This initiative draws attention to the climate-challenge and, at the same time, reduces our amount of carbon emissions.

Join the action and set the thermostat 1°C lower and wear a warm sweater on February 15, and share pictures of your activities! Of course you do not have to stop there: if you want, you can get creative and plan even more energy-saving actions.
Actions will be featured in the next Mayors in Action newsletter.
